Some memories are so sweet that we like to visit them over and over again. To appreciate this memory I find a peaceful place and clear my mind of any worry or anxiety. I deliberately pass by the other memories that call to me, No thank you, I don’t wish to revisit that experience. I firmly choose this one – a special time I shared with my mother, who left this earth almost five years ago.
Today at 62 I am balanced and have tremendous stamina and energy. I know it sounds too good to be true, but for me achieving a body that works in connection with my mind equates to a wonderful gift and a reason for celebration.
I spent the majority of my life oblivious to the fact that our bodies don’t automatically replenish themselves. At age 45, with three kids at home under the age of ten and a high-pressure job, I received a loud wake up call. My body rebelled, and as it screamed in pain I responded by running to various doctors to get it fixed.
